Feed My Starving Children (Madelyn)

What a wonderful experience!  Madelyn had the opportunity to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) and contribute to a meaningful cause. Packing meals for children in need is a valuable way to make a positive impact on their lives.

“It’s amazing to think about the number of meals I and my station packed in just one session. 720 meals is a significant number, and knowing that each meal can make a difference in a child’s well-being is truly heartwarming. The fact that the stations were able to pack so many boxes of meals shows the collective effort and dedication of the volunteers involved.

Madelyn is planning to continue volunteering in the future. The FMSC motto, “Love more & Do more,” embodies the spirit of selflessness and compassion that drives their mission.

Shoe Away Hunger Program

Shoe Away Hunger offers affordable quality footwear for those in need.  In addition, it helps to raise the important dollars we need to continue feeding over 7,500 people each month through our Food Programs and services.  This amazing program offers a simple and meaningful way for you to join with us as we work together to eliminate local hunger “one sole at a time”.

During this really fun and rewarding event our volunteers sorted new and used shoes that are donated to this organization. They are sold for next to nothing to churches and organizations. The money they raise goes to their food shelf. What a wonderful opportunity and a big difference you have made to many!
